The Mohawk Belt is a certified NFPA 1983:2012 Fire Resistance (FR) Escape/Ladder* Belt (with MUS). It was design to live on an apparatus and to be used by the firefighter that is schedule for that position, or quickly adjusted on the fly by a firefighter even if they are responding from the station to a call. It only takes seconds to adjust the gross rear adjuster, and once donned can be tighten by the fine side adjuster. Built to accommodate different bailout systems. Both sides of the belt can be utilized for carrying equipment. The Mohawk has one fix D-Ring as a NFPA Attachment/Positioning point. A rear NFPA positioning point is not an available option with this belt.
The Mohawk is a NFPA Escape Belt & Ladder Belt*, it uses an upgradable modular design. Rapidly fitted to individuals from 28” to 52”, and to both, left or right hander’s. Easily adjusted to any firefighter with a fast gross adjustment on the back of the belt, and fine six inch (6”) adjustment on the front of the belt.
This belt can be outfitted with a variety of different bailout systems and accessories for added versatility.
The belt accessories can be added at anytime. This keeps the cost down on the initial purchase. One only needs to buy one belt, and then add accessories as needed to meet your requirements.
