Love Love Love my Axe!!!!

I got my flathead with a 32" wood handle. When I first took it out of the box I could not stop staring at it. This axe is beautiful yet obviously a workhorse. I like the fact that the entire head is heat treated. I got alot of info from the customer service when I called. I really liked the fact that he was also a fireman and actually uses a fire axe inc. axe as well. I did not ask him what model though. I originally wanted a 28 inch handle but the guy told me that I would probably like the simmetry a 32" handle gives to an 8 pound head. I cannot say if he ways right or not since I have not held a 28" in this model. Anyway, the polished head is really nice, I used it on a call and just polished it back up when I got back to the station. They sent it to me with care instrcutions from the manufacturer too. Thanks for the great service and great advice west Coast 911. I will definitely be back!

The day my axe arrived I was pumped. I opened the box and knew I had made the right choice. I went with the pick-head fire axe and I absolutely love this thing. It's beautiful. I contemplated getting a cheaper smaller model but was so glad I didn't. The guys from the westcoast store were really cool. I called and asked a few questions about it and the rep. was right when he said I wouldn't be disappointed. Great fire axe and great service. I ended up getting the scabbard a few weeks later.
