The Fire Innovations Yellow Jacket™ Bail-Out Bag is specifically designed for firefighting and rescue use. Made of fire retardant, water repellent and UV light resistant materials. These are the most useful rope bags available, as they are durable and multi-functional.

All of our rope bags hang inverted to prevent water and debris from getting into the bag, while the bonnet protects the rope from UV light. All bags have a 4000lb. tubular nylon-webbing strap with stainless steel rings at both ends. The rope is carabinered to the internal ring making it easy to disconnect the rope from the bag.

The bag itself (when empty) can serve as an anchor by wrapping around an object and securing the stainless steel rings with a carabiner. The Fire Innovations Yellow Jacket™ Belt Bags & Bailout Systems are designed as personal rope / escape bags. A special holder allows an eight-plate or O-ring to be pre-rigged and secured to the bag for rapid deployment. These bags can be secured to a truck belt or SCBA with a simple one-pull strap. After deployment, the rope can be easily stored in coils on the outside of the bag (using the bonnet) until the rope can be properly repacked.

*When purchasing just the rope and carabiner, you get an aluminum Red Gate™ carabiner and 50 feet of 7.5mm TSAFE™ NFPA aramid/nylon construction deg. (932° F, 4016 lb) rope.

The complete Bailout Systems include in addition to the rope, a NFPA Quick-lok™ Aluminum carabiner, 6" leather rope chafe protection, and the choice of an aluminum mini-eight plate or a 3" steel O-ring as your descending device.
When purchased as a Bailout System you get the following:

* 50’ of 7.5mm NFPA Technora™ Rope (900/500 deg. 4016 lb)
* A choice of an 8-Plate or O-Ring as your descending device
* One Red Gate™ carabiner

  • The descender is secured and held under the bonnet.
  • The outer and inner ring (Fig. E, F) are made of stainless steel and are sewn together with rock climbing bartack stitching, and rated at 4000lbs, an empty bag can be used as a non-fire emergency rescue anchor.
  • NFPA aluminum carabiner on the outer ring (Fig. F) can be used for your anchor or as an attachment for your descending device.
